Characters

The House of Hades and the surface are full of gods, shades and mythological figures. Building relationships with them (usually by gifting Nectar) unlocks dialogue, keepsakes and story.

The House of Hades

• Zagreus - the player character, son of Hades, determined to escape the Underworld.
• Hades - lord of the dead and Zagreus's father.
• Nyx - the incarnation of Night and a maternal figure to Zagreus.
• Achilles - Zagreus's mentor, author of the in-game codex.
• Hypnos, Thanatos, Megaera, Dusa, Cerberus, Orpheus and more reside in the House.

The Olympians

Zeus, Poseidon, Athena, Ares, Artemis, Aphrodite, Hermes, Dionysus and Demeter aid Zagreus with Boons from the surface.
