Crops are the backbone of most farms. Each season has its own crop roster, and choosing what to plant (and when) drives early-game profit.
Seasons
- Spring - parsnips are the tutorial crop; strawberries (from the Egg Festival) are the season's star.
- Summer - blueberries are famously profitable multi-harvest crops.
- Fall - cranberries and pumpkins headline; wheat bridges seasons.
- Winter - no conventional outdoor crops; forage seeds, the greenhouse and Ginger Island keep farming alive.
Mechanics
- Crops die at the season change unless they span multiple seasons.
- Multi-harvest crops keep producing after their first harvest.
- Quality (silver, gold, iridium) scales with farming skill and fertilizer.
- Scarecrows protect against crows; sprinklers automate watering.
